Buying and/or selling a ranch represents one of the most significant financial decisions a person will ever make during his/her lifetime. This is not your average Real Estate transaction, and it takes an above average Realtor/Broker that specializes in the Farm and Ranch Industry. My main focus is on the Farm and Ranch trade in Texas and New Mexico. I watch it so you don’t have to. I have been in the Farm and Ranch industry for over 4 decades, and I have made it my personal goal to deliver the best service and knowledge of the market.

I earned my real estate license in 1994 and hit the ground running. I started with a small firm called Carriage Company Realtorsand then I moved on to Re/Max of Midland where I remained until Legacy Real Estate purchased the company in 2003. I was with Legacy Real Estate for 12 years before embarking on a lifelong dream of owning my own Real Estate Brokerage, CM Ranch Real Estate.

Buying a tract of land or a ranch is one of the safest ways to invest money in today’s economy. A major factor in the Ranch Real Estate business and a major driver in this market is the hunting/ wildlife industry. This is a multi-billion dollar industry that keeps growing. An additional major factor in the ranching industry is the livestock, (i.e. cattle, sheep, goats). My family has been in the cattle business my entire life. For the most part, we were a Registered Operation producing Limousin Bulls. We held a production sale every year guaranteeing at least 150 to 225 bulls. Our cow average was about 1,100 to 1,500 head year round. I have a great deal of hands on experience with artificial insemination and high weight gains on feedlot cattle. With this being said, the great news is that the cattle industry is back on the move and shows a very positive forecast for the future. Regardless of the size you wish to buy, I can confidently reveal the upside in investing in this industry and trading ranches. I have personally touched every aspect of the ranching industry and hunting industry and can make this a positive venture for you.

In addition to my aforementioned experience,I also have countless hours on machinery in Ranch Management. I have worked several projects with Government agencies dealing with water improvements, brush control, and erosion control. I also have knowledge in improving grass to better range management.

I’m very active in the team roping/Rodeo world and a current member of the World Series of Team Roping and USTRC. I love to rope and am very competitive. I am also a proud member/supporter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and donate to several other wildlife foundations. I love the western way of life and believe in promoting it. I love roping, hunting, and my life as a Farm and Ranch Broker, I am certainly blessed; however, my biggest blessings come from being married to the love of my life, Farah, who also happens to be my “boss.” We have 3 children, a daughter and 2 sons, whom we are extremely proud of. Farah handles all of the CM Ranch Real Estate marketing and finances, she keeps us moving in a forward direction. She is my teammate and partner in everything I do.
